The Institute for Global South Studies and Research (IGSSR) is organizing a Special Lecture programme in association with Vakkom Moulavi Memorial and Research Centre (VMMRC) on the theme “Keralam in Abdulrazak Gurnah’s Mapping.” Gurnah is the recipient of the 2021 Nobel prize in Literature. The Lecture is delivered by Muzafer Ahamed, a Kerala Sahitya Akademi award winner who served as a journalist in the Middle East for long. Dr MV Bijulal, a faculty and Co-ordinator of the Nelson Mandela Chair in Mahatma Gandhi University will chair the session. The programme is scheduled through a Zoom Meeting at 7 PM on Friday, 12 November.
